Our Customers are billed monthly for water and sewer usage.  The water meter is read monthly to determine the consumption.

Service Issues

The department receives and responds to customer-related issues daily including issuing work orders for internal and external staff to investigate issues when needed. If you are experiencing any issues with your service, please contact our office at 770-704-1502,  Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

If you are experiencing a water outage, leak, or sewer related emergency, please contact the Operations Department at 770-479-2392.

Water Restrictions

There is currently no drought level response declared for the metro Atlanta region or the state of Georgia. The Metro Water District encourages all Georgians to follow the state’s year-round watering restrictions required under the Water Stewardship Act of 2010, which limits outdoor watering to before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m. To keep up-to-date  on the latest drought status visit here

Trash & Recycling

Waste Pro proudly services the City of Canton’s waste collection. Waste Pro will provide weekly garbage collection and offer the option of bi-weekly recycling collection.
