The City of Canton’s Department of Communications and Outreach is tasked with developing and executing the City of Canton’s external communication strategy, coordinating and supporting internal communications for the City, developing and executing the City’s marketing and branding, and ensuring cohesiveness between special community outreach programs who receive Hotel/Motel Tax.

Communications and Outreach is also responsible for coordinating and producing the City of Canton’s promotional materials and maintains the City’s web presence through this site, plus the city’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media platforms. 

In addition to creating news releases, newsletters and reports, the department routinely handles all non-public safety press inquiries.

All government and City Council-related media and interview requests are handled at City Hall at 770-704-1500.
