Peace + Love + Recycle - Canton: May 1
Join us at the City of Canton Public Works on Sat., May 1, in celebration of Earth Day. On this day from 7 a.m.-1 p.m., City residents have the opportunity to drop off items that are typically more difficult to recycle, such as electronics, latex and oil-based paint, and tires. Paper shredding will also be available. You must be a resident that lives within the City limits of Canton to participate.
Here are some things to remember before you arrive:
- Paper shredding is limited to five copier paper boxes
- Electronics recycling
- Tube Televisions - $25 cash fee
- Oil-based and latex paint will be accepted and limited to 10 gallons per vehicle (cans must contain 50% wet paint)
- Tires are limited to eight tires per vehicle (no dealer tires)
COVID-19 social distancing guidelines:
- Attendees are encouraged to wear masks
- Containers will not be returned, therefore bring materials in disposable containers or boxes
- If you are bringing a tube television, please make sure you have help to unload
